How to wash my cap ?
It is recommended to wash your cap at the dry-cleaner’s but if you wish to handwash your cap, you could. To wash your cap and avoid to damage the peak, you could use a brush with flexible bristle or a sponge.
For the inside band, you could wash it vigorously with a rag. If your cap is made of cotton, you could use hot or tepid water, and cold water if it is made of wool.
Wring it with a rag then let it dry in open air. To maintain the shape of the peak, put the cap on something flat. If the cap become distorted, you could stuff it with silk tissue and put it above a hot water pan to benefit the water vapour.
