How to maintain my down jacket ?
The down jacket must me wash in a washing machine at 30°. However, it is important to note that the zips of the down jacket must be close before passing in machine. If a stain is present on the down jacket, you could scrub it with delicacy and a little touch of washing powder.
During down jacket’s drying, first you have to mop up the down jacket with a towel for example in order to remove the excess of water. In the case of a down jacket with feathers, you could pass it in the dryer with a synthetic cycle to dry the feathers and give swelling to the down jacket.
If you don’t have a dryer, you could simply put the down jacket on a clothes airer. Nevertheless, the down jacket’s drying will last during several days because of its thickness. Do not put your down jacket on a radiator at the risk to burn it.
